RYA Training Centre and How they Benefit You
The Royal Yachting Association is the Main UK governing body for sailing & powerboating and is highly regarded round the world. Over a number of years the RYA has developed a detailed and varied training scheme for water sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. This ensures that teaching is to national standards and, whilst locations may vary greatly, the standard of training is consistent. RYA Training Centres are inspected annually in order to maintain these standards and to ensure constant feedback with particular regard to your safety. The RYA also provides the framework for training courses from absolute beginner up to instructors, trainers and national coaches. This means that when you attend a course at Falmouth School of Sailing, an RYA Training Centre, you are assured a Very high standard of tuition, equipment and facilities. AALA Recognised Training Centres and how they benefit You
Falmouth School of Sailing is also inspected and licensed by the AALA every 3 years. The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority is the national body responsible for ensuring that all activity providers in a wide range of disciplines comply with the safety and operating procedures required for the provision of training for all children under the age of 18. The AALA logo and contact number is displayed on the left on our home page and indicates that we currently comply with those regulations.
