Experience animal welfare in action at Europe’s busiest seal rescue centre. Encounter fascinating streamlined seals and playful otters. Visit a working seal hospital and meet our resident seals and sea lions. Daily interactive talks and feeding presentations make this a day out for the whole family.
And now you don’t just learn about seal rescue…you can become a rescue volunteer yourself in our seal rescue centre. Discover how to tube-feed a rescued pup and how to take its temperature. Don’t worry though, our special ‘plastic’ seal pups don’t bite. The real seals can be viewed at their most graceful from our special underwater observatory.

Why not take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly?
Options available include, Skybus flights from Land’s End or Newquay Airport or by sea from Penzance onboard Scillonian III. Or combine the two with an Air and Sea Daytrip: Taking an early flight to the islands enjoying the stunning aerial views, and then return on a leisurely cruise, taking in the dramatic Cornish coastline.
